Biography: Born in São Paulo (Brazil), Caio Moraes Reis has recently started his PhD in Sociology at the University of São Paulo under the auspices of the GCSMUS after finishing a MA in Political Science in 2019 and a BA in Social Sciences (sociology, anthropology, and political science) in 2016 at the University of São Paulo (USP), where he has also been working as a voluntary teaching assistant in undergraduate courses on social research methods and sociological theory (since 2017), and as a researcher of the USP Center for Studies and Research on the Sociology of Space and Time (NEPSESTE) (since 2018). At the GCSMUS, Reis has been active as a doctoral student and as a research assistant of the Action 4 research project “Spatial Methods in Action: The Everyday Spatialities of Homelessness for Urban Sustainability” (since 2021). In 2021, he worked as a teaching assistant of an undergraduate course on global inequality and local conceptions of the future at the Technical University of Berlin.
