SMUS-funded MOOC receives Special Mention at the UIA Golden Cubes Awards

The MOOC Built Environment and Architecture Education for Children and Youth: An International Perspective on Theory and Practice, funded by SMUS, has received a Special Mention in the Audio-Visual Media category of the 6th cycle of the Golden Cubes Awards of the International Union of Architects (UIA).

The MOOC presents international approaches to built environment education and connects theoretical perspectives with examples from research, practice and education. It focuses on how children and youth can understand, experience and help shape architecture, cities and the built environment as part of sustainable urban transformation processes.

The recognition by the UIA also acknowledges SMUS’s commitment to supporting transdisciplinary and internationally accessible educational formats on sustainable urban development, participation and built environment education.
