Biography: Youssef Askar is a passionate architect and urban planner with over four years of residential and commercial construction experience in four different countries. He received a double bachelor’s degree in architecture from Germany and Syria, and two master’s degrees from Bauhaus University and Tongji University. He is a firm believer that a combination of architecture and design with urban research can tackle social problems and strengthen our communities.
Currently, he is a researcher and PhD candidate at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Tongji University, Shanghai.
