Biography: Prof. Dr. Gulnara Malbagarovna Mendikulova is a Professor of History with a Post-doctorate degree in the Historical Sciences and an Academician of the International Academy of History and Social Sciences. Furthermore, she is a Professor in the Department of Social Disciplines at Satbayev University with eleven published monographs, textbooks, collections of documents and 300 articles in 15 countries. She was awarded the Breastplate “For Merits in the Development of Science of the R.K.” (2008), Jubilee Medal of 120th anniversary of K.I. Satpayev (2019), and the Best Teacher at the university in 2017 in the Republic of Kazakhstan (2018). She has won 19 international grants and scholarships. Since 2003, she has been the head of fundamental and applied research projects at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She speaks Kazakh, Russian, English – fluently, Turkish, French and Latin – with a dictionary.
