Biography: Iram is presently a PhD. Scholar in the Department of Architecture & Planning, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (Uttarakhand, India). In 2016, she completed her Master’s degree in Recreation Architecture (M. Arch) from Jamia Millia Islamia Central University, New Delhi (India). She was later associated with Graphic Era Hill University, School of Architecture & Planning, Dehradun (Uttarakhand, India), as an Assistant Professor for two years. She worked for six months as Project Fellow at the CSIR-Central Building Research Institute (CSIR-CBRI), Roorkee (Uttarakhand, India). She also worked as a Trainee and Architect for two years with Rajiv Goel & Associates Pvt Ltd, Noida (Delhi, India). She is currently working on the interaction of elderly people with their home environment for her PhD on “Design Considerations for Ageing and Independence in Indian Home Environment”.
