Biography: Dr. Ariuntuya Tserendorj is a Lecturer in Environmental Engineering at GMIT (German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology) in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Before this appointment, she was a researcher in R&D at the Institute of Light Industry in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. She studied and received her Dr. Tech. Sci. degree from the Environmental Engineering and Management, SERD, at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. Her research focuses on activated sludge settling processes and small plant design.
Dr. Tserendorj ‘s design research explores multi-functional infrastructure development in rural areas. Other research interests are wastewater treatment plant design for small-scale industry and rural areas, river basin related pathogen detection methods, and water supply systems and planning.
