Biography: Caio Moraes Reis was born in São Paulo, Brazil. He holds a MA in Political Science from the University of São Paulo (USP), where he focused on the contemporary debate on social justice and socioeconomic inequalities in the liberal-egalitarian branch of contemporary normative political theory. In 2018, Caio took up his current position as a researcher at The Centre for Studies and Research in the Sociology of Space and Time (NEPSESTE) at the University of São Paulo.
His work has focused on the sociology of common sense knowledge, sociology of everyday life, sociology of death and social research methods.
