Biography: Battsetseg Altankhuyag is from Mongolia. She completed her Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) at Seoul National University in South Korea and her Master’s of Education (M.Ed) at the University of Turku in Finland
After finishing her studies abroad, she returned to her country where she took up her current position at the German-Mongolian Institute for Resources and Technology (GMIT) as the Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Department.
Battsetseg has, since she was very young, been interested in Education and believes that Education is one of the most important and fundamental factors in the development of any country.

Research Topic: Understanding Mongolian first-year students’ experiences at university (unequal opportunities in access to Education)
