Jakkrit Sangkhamanee is Associate Professor of Anthropology at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. His research brings anthropology and science and technology studies (STS) into conversation with urban environmental ontology, infrastructural politics, water, and climate change. His earlier work examined irrigation, hydrological knowledge, and state formation in Thailand and the Mekong region. His current research explores Bangkok’s fluid urban assemblages, amphibious ecologies, coastal transformation, and more-than-human forms of urban coexistence.
