Podcast “People in Street Situation and Urban Sustainability”

To showcase the wide range of social-scientific and humanities research and outreach projects from the University of São Paulo (USP) which align with the UN’s 2030 Agenda, the USP library devoted in particular to the Humanities and Social Sciences interviewed Prof. Dr. Fraya Frehse and two Pilot Project Student Team members, Caio Moraes Reis and Giulia Patitucci, about the Pilot Project in the framework of the following, Portuguese-spoken podcast “Vem Junto 2030 [Join Us 2023]” in April 2022. During almost one hour the trio not only summarized the project phases and outcomes. The interviewees demonstrated the project’s role in advancing the SDG #11 agenda regarding inclusion, resilience, and sustainability in urban public spaces via its unique, ethnographic approach to the everyday prejudices of academics and practitioners regarding homeless people.
